Mama, Mommy, Mom......

When Lil' C first started talking around a year old, she called me Mama. Then 6 months later, when she was talking a lot more, I became Mommy. It was Mommy for a while. Then she decided she prefers to call me Mama again!!! So it was Mama for a couple of months. Recently, Mama is no longer the preferred. Now it's Mom!!! *sigh* Kids!!! They are so fickle-minded!! :)
So what do your little ones call you?

It's Mama then and Mommy now. Who knows, she might call me Mom when she's older. I could just picture her saying that when she's in her teen years. *worried*

Calling 'Mom' indicates they are grown up. Then there will be days when they feel like being a kid again, you will then be referred to as 'Mummiiiieee' or 'Maaamaaa'. Rather nice. My daughter does that do me many a times. :)

My son calls me 'Mummmiiee' when he wants something which he thinks it is probably an impossible ask. Otherwise is a plain 'Mum'.

Mine called me mama.
My elder boy started to call me pretty late about 2yrs old. You can imagine how thrilled I am when I heard those words from him :)

we've only taught mine "mama" instead of Mommy since it is easier for her to say mama than mommy. but i'd love to hear her call me mommy once she's able to say it :D
